night.lighti took a walk to that place where we ran for our lives.
in the darkness of night
the forest seemed to be against us.
roots grasping for our ankles,
branches coveting our eyes.
you followed me
into the dirty river
and you led me
to the clearing.
we made it through;
your clothes torn,
your hands bloodied.
both of us with mud on our shoes
and bruises on our legs.
we found safety and i could not speak,
i couldn't breathe.
in the light of day
those trees are not so consuming.
the route of our painful escape is far more tranquil than my imagination wants to remember.

everyone sort of rips things off from sort of everyone.

whether or not there are any original thoughts left is up for debate, but there are certainly a lot of original actions still left.

I for one, have never seen a stencil of a biped riding an old bike sprayed across a book.
